Good morning lovelies & happy Sunday! Today I’m super excited to finally be able to share my swatches of these amazing Limited Edition polishes from Sally Hansen. I’ve been playing around with looks using these shades since I received them, & now I finally have the time to share these polishes with you.
I was gifted these amazing polishes from Sally Hansen, which are currently popping up in stores for the Summer. The collection contains 6 brand new shades–my package also contained a bottle of Get Mod (white) as well Matte Top Coat.
For my swatches below, I applied the polish just on its own–I started off trying it with the white undies, but it seemed like unnecessary layers of polish, so I decided to swatch all shades just on their own. & I was quite impressed with how they turned out!
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Violet Voltage
Starting off with my personal favourite colour–purple. The swatch above was 2 coats of polish plus Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat. The opacity was pretty good with this shade & two coats was the perfect amount. Definitely a shade I can see myself wearing a bunch!
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Lemon Chillo
When I think of Summer polishes I love, I don’t usually think to reach for yellow, but I’m seriously feeling this fluorescent shade. The above swatches took 3 coats of polish for perfect opacity, but the end result is totally worth it. If only for how amazing this shade is going to look against my tan this Summer!
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Peach Please
Oh hello, I love you. Anything peachy has long been a favourite polish shade of mine, & this electric peach is no exception. Swatches took 2ish coats of polish for the above picture, with a sweep of extra polish on a few nails. But oh boy, loving how this colour looks on my skin tone–this is going to be a Polish I wear lots this Summer!
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Miami Nice
Hands down, this shade is my absolute favourite of the whole collection! This is two coats, plus top coat, & I want to wear this shade everyday. The formula was much easier to use than some of the other polishes, & the colour is what I look for in a Summer nail polish shade. Yes, yes, yes.
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Electri-Lime
Next up, we have this faded neon lime shade which took 3 coats for opacity. This shade was a little harder to build, but with enough coats & top coat it leveled out great. I’m not a huge green polish person, but for a bit of a change I could definitely see myself grabbing this bottle.
Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Fuchsia Fever
& last up, we have a shocking Barbie pink polish. For my swatch, I only needed 2 coats for full opacity. To me, this is what comes to mind immediately when I think of neon: it makes me think of the opening music of Saved by the Bell & the early 90s when everything was neon. & I love it. Not the most unique shade, but definitely a classic neon.
So which polish is your favourite pick? Miami Nice is definitely my favourite of this collection, with Violent Voltage a close second. You can find these shades wherever you buy your Sally Hansen Miracle Gel shades. I found the collection hiding out at local Shoppers Drug Mart, retailing for $12.99, along side their Miracle Gel Matte Top Coat!
