SWATCH SUNDAY — Ella + Mila Enchanted Collection (B)

*contains PR

Good morning lovelies & happy Sunday! It’s a beautiful chilly Sunday here. November is definitely in full swing. Today I have a long awaited swatch post to share with you. I originally had planned to share it last week, but I was super sick so I wasn’t up to blogging of any kind. So, without any further a due: The Ella + Mila Enchanted collection (B).

Ella + Mila Everglow

2 coats + Ella + Mila Fast Drying Top Coat

First up, we have one of 2 toppers in the collection Everglow. The clear base is packed with a beautiful pink shimmer that looks beautiful not just over my naked nails but over any creme base.

Application was smooth, & it was very quick drying. Over all, a beautiful topper.

Ella + Mila Aurora Lights

2 coats + Ella + Mila Fast Drying Top Coat

The second of the two toppers of this collection is Aurora Lights. Again, I used two coats for my swatches. This shade has an orange base, shifty glitter. Depending on how you move your hand, it shifts pink, blue or orange.

Again, smooth application & quick drying. I definitely would probably avoid wearing it on my natural nails (as it brings out the yellow staining of my nails) but I definitely love it over other polishes. It gives a beautiful shifty finish.

Ella + Mila Zephyr

2 coats + Ella + Mila Fast Drying Top Coat

The final 4 shades of this collection are all holographics, & I’m starting strong with Zephyr. This gorgeous silver holographic is thin enough you can layer for opacity, or can do one coat over a darker base to add some holo. & the holo is strong.

Application was easy. All of these shades dry very quickly, which is impressive. & the finish is absolutely beautiful.

Ella + Mila Oasis

2 coats + Ella + Mila Fast Drying Top Coat

Next up, we have Oasis, a lovely bronze-y orange holographic. This one had a bit more opacity with two coats, & I found the holo was slightly less strong than Zephyr — but still gorgeous! This shade is a hard for me to describe, because is it orange or is it bronze? I feel like it leans both ways, depending on what you pair it was.

Again easy smooth application, & very quick drying which is great!

Ella + Mila Dragonfly

2 coats + Ella + Mila Fast Drying Top Coat

The third holographic shade we have from this collection is Dragonfly, a super liner holographic pink. The holo effect was definitely a bit more strong on this one, similar to Zephyr, which I loved. & the colour is a lovely medium pink shade.

This was the only holo in the collection where application did not go as smoothly. When I went to do a second coat, the first one pulled up slightly, which lead to a bit of a bumpy finish (you can see it on my pointer finger). I’m not sure if this was a result of too thick coats or not waiting long enough for coat 1 to dry. Not a deal breaker, but a little annoying. Still love the colour though, just will be more careful with application next time!

Ella + Mila Violet Skies

One coat (!) + Ella + Mila Fast Drying Top Coat

& last but not least, we have my favourite of the collection: Violet Skies. & are we even surprised this beautiful dark purple holographic would be my favourite? I think not. The shade has a little bit of a blue-ish undertone which I like, because it sets it apart from my other purple holos. The holographic effect is also nice & strong.

& did I mention that this is not only one coat? That’s right: one coat. I feel like I need not say more. It is gorgeous, easy to apply, quick drying. I’m in love with it.

What do you think of the Ella + Mila Enchanted Collection (B)? Do you love these shades are much as I do? Which one is your favourite?
