SWATCH SUNDAY — Wrenn Polish Ruby Slippers & Intoxicated

Hello lovelies! Happy Sunday! & happy first post of 2020! I thought it would be exciting if my first post of the New Year was my first Swatch Sunday post of the new year & decade.

Today we have an awesome start with two BRAND NEW polishes from Wrenn Polish. I’ve share quite a few of her gorgeous shades on my blog before, but for those who are new, Wrenn Polish is a vegan, cruelty free & 5-free brand of Indie polish. All of her nail polish shades are inspired by her jewelry line, which makes for some incredibly beautiful nail polish shades.

Alissa recently came out with two brand new polishes just in time for the holidays, & guess what? THEY’RE BOTH HOLO! So if you’re looking for some beautiful new polish, keep reading!

SWATCH SUNDAY—Dimension Nails Amazonian Manatee & Pygmy Sloth

Hello lovelies & happy Sunday! How crazy is it we only have 2 Sundays left until Christmas? I’m still attempted to get my Christmas presents together… the stress level is real!

But, I was lucky enough to receive an awesome gifted package from my girl Victoria at NailStuff.ca featuring some fun new goodies. If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you would have gotten a sneak peak already, but Victoria sent me 3 brand new polishes from 2 new-to-me brands. & first up we’re taking about Dimension Nails!

Dimension Nails is a vegan, cruelty free Indie brand that is 10 free. That means it’s free of 10 not good for you ingredients including formaldehyde, toluene, & other really bad for you ingredients. Love that! Nailstuff.ca is a seller for the brand here in Canada, but you can also purchase directly from the Dimension Nails website as well. Also interesting is the fact that some of her shades–including the two I received–are collab shades with others which is so cool!

BODICO Stamping Plate & Stamper Review

Hello lovelies! Today I have a fun spontaneous review for you guys! For my birthday last month, my Mom gave me a present that included a few stamping plates from a new to me brand (BODICO) & I decided that it would be fun to review these stamping plate for you guys! I also asked over on my Instagram if you would like to see a review & it was a resounding 100% YES!

I asked my Mum, & she said she bought these stamping plates at the Great Canadian Dollar Store in Bathurst New Brunswick. I looked this brand up online & couldn’t find any more plates to buy, but I did find the stamper/scraper set on some random website. The plates themselves are all single sheets of metal, with a selection of designs. & each plate is numbered–I have plates B-03, B-12, & B-17.

& before we get started, I just want to say I am not a professional stamper–at best I am a newb. But I do like stamping, & I feel like I’ve been getting better, so I feel like that makes me a good person to review these plates as they seem like the kind of item a beginner might pick up to try out nail stamping.

Hello lovelies & Happy Sunday! & Happy Thanksgiving weekend to my fellow Canadians–I hope you’re enjoying a lovely feast with friends & family. Today I’m very thankful for everyone who takes the time to sit & read the blog, & comment & like. I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for you guys. & I wouldn’t have the opportunities I have if it wasn’t for you guys.

Like being sent PR packages from Essie!

Today I have a couple of polishes that we’re so kindly gifted to me from Essie themselves! They sent me 4 shades from the Rocky Rose collection from this past Summer. The collection itself features 9 neutral toned shades & is described in the PR materials as “a collection that harnesses the sun-saturated grandeur of the iconic desert landscape.”

Can’t get more awesome than that!

For my swatches, I received the shades The A-bliss, Cliff Hanger, Set in Sandstone & No Shade Here. I will add, only two of the bottles came with the actual polish names on the bottom so I’m guessing based on the other swatches I’ve seen.

China Glaze Halloween 2019 Swatches — To Catch A Colour Collection

Hello lovelies & Happy Friday!

Today I’m switching things up a bit & sharing my swatches for China Glaze Halloween 2019. I know, usually I would wait & write up a Swatch Sunday post featuring these beauties, but I was too excited about this new collection to wait!

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it before, but China Glaze always makes my favourite Halloween nail polish collections, because they’re always super unique & fun for Halloween, but still work really well for other times of the year. This year, the collection consists of 6 brand new polishes: 1 textured shade, 3 regular metallic/scattered holo shade, & two fun glitter toppers.
