Good morning lovelies & happy Sunday. It’s a bit of a snowy Sunday here, with a bit of snow on the ground which actually feels very festive. & they’re calling for more snow tomorrow! So maybe we’ll have a white Christmas — who knows. But it is giving me a flickering of holiday spirit, I won’t lie.
Today I’m excited because I got a bit of an early Christmas present c/o: Butter London. They sent me an amazing PR package containing two limited edition Pure Colour 21X shades for Winter: Branwen’s Pearls, & Frozen Loch. Two gorgeous Winter-y shades that are absolutely perfect for the winter season.
So let’s take a look!
Butter London Branwen’s Pearls Winter 2025

2 coats + top coat
First up, we have Branwen’s Pearls, a beautiful pearl white polish with a lovely shimmer. This shade immediately makes me think of all the white shades I adored during the late 90s/early 00s. The formula, being a pearlescent shade, does require a bit of a careful hand to avoid too many brush strokes. But I feel like that is just the nature of this kind of formula.
The colour is very icy Winter morning, which I love. It’s frosty, & gorgeous. & I feel like it’s very on trend with Pantone choosing Cloud Dancer as the colour of the year for 2026. I’ve always love a good white nail polish, & this one is just lovely. A nice clean manicure.

Butter London Frozen Loch Winter 2025

2 coats + top coat
The second limited edition shade is a beautiful shimmery blue called Frozen Loch. Again, the icy vibes are strong with these shades. This pale blue has this subtle shimmer that reminds me of a frosty, icy morning. The formula on this one was a bit tricky to apply, just because I found my first application really patchy. That being said, with the second coat & a little top coat, the finished look was beautiful.
The icy blue is really pretty. Its reminds me of Elsa. It would make for the most beautiful base for an Elsa inspired manicure! I might have to give that a try soon.

Over all, I’m really loving this two limited shades for Winter. Butter London always has great colour options, & I always enjoy wearing them! You can find both Frozen Loch & Branwen’s Pearls online at the Butter London website, & retails for $14 USD. I did check the Shoppers Drug Mart website to see if it was also available, & couldn’t find it, so I’m not sure if there is anywhere else to purchase this shade.
What do you think of Frozen Loch & Branwen’s Pearls? Are you loving these Winter shades as much as I do? What are your thoughts on Butter London’s polishes? Let me know all your thoughts down in the comments below! I’d love to know what you think of this collection.
