SWATCH SUNDAY — Candy Coat

{PR SAMPLE/GIFTED}

Hello lovelies & happy Sunday! Today I have some brand new beauties to share with you! I recently received a PR Candy Box šŸ¬ from Candy Coat, with some cute little bottle of polishes! They are reached out to me curious if I would be interested in trying some of their newly released (non gel) mini polishes, & you know how much I love trying new to me polish brands, so obviously my answer was a resounding yes!

These Candy Coat mini polishes are 12-free, cruelty free & fast drying. There is 5ml of polish were mini bottles & they retail for £2.99 or $5.14 CAD ($3.84 USD).

So let’s get into the swatches!

Candy Coat — 765

2 coats + top coat

First shade up is 765, a beautiful pale blush pink. This is definitely what I would consider an office appropriate shade — perfect for wearing when you can’t wear something super bright, but don’t want to wear naked nails. The formula on these shades was really nice — one coat wasn’t enough, but two coats leveled everything out really nicely. & they definitely do dry pretty quickly, although I finished everything off with top coat for a little extra glossiness.

Candy Coat —Ā 907

2 coats + top coat

Next up we haveĀ 765,Ā which is a beautiful muted dusty purple. I appreciate these colours I received because they’re so Spriny-y, & great bases for nail art. Again, the formula was really good on these & I had perfect application in just two coats. I also tested out the wear, & I managed to wear this shade from Monday night until Friday night, without any real chipping Friday, so I’m quite impressed with the wear of these as well.

Candy Coat — 807

2 coats + top coat

Last but not least is my favourite of the 3 shades I received, & are we even surprised? 807 is a stunning, vibrant orange leaning tomato red & it’s honestly perfection! This, again, was 2 coats plus glossy top coat, which I think is amazing for a red, because for some reasons red nail polishes — even red “creams” — always seem to be more jelly like than any other nail polishes so you usually need more coats. But not this one, it applied with the exact same application as the other two. Removal was also super easy, without leaving my nails & cuticles with a beautiful red tinge (which, again, is another struggle of red nail polish.) Hands down the favourite for me, & definitely adding it to my red nail polish rotation.

You can find these shades, & more, on the Candy Coat website! There are so many cute polishes, & you know how much I love mini bottles — gives you the opportunity to try out more shades than maybe you would have! As well, for every Ā£25 you spend, you can get free candy which I mean… if that isn’t a reason to splurge, what is?
