Floral obsessed! featuring Claire’s Mood Polish.

Good morning lovelies! Today I’ve got another floral mani to share with you! I’ve been turning to floral A LOT lately and playing around with different looks.

The base colour I used for this mani is one of Claire’s Mood polishes which is a blue with hidden shimmer that shifts between dark blue when cold and lighter blue when hot. I’m a huge fan of these thermal polishes — I just love them! My only (only) complaint is I wish they didn’t chip so easily! You may notice the little chip of my middle finger which I got from sleeping. 😞

My floral was created super simple using my dotting tools and an assortment of blue, pink and yellow polishes and all topped with Seche Vite.

the Little Canvas Nail Artist of the Month!

Good morning Lovelies! Happy Monday! I’m lucky enough that it’s a semi-holiday Monday here in ole Halifax and I’m lucky enough to have the day off!

It’s also a seriously awesome amazing Monday because I am featured by The Little Canvas as August’s Nail Artist of the Month! I’m so excited that Alaina asked me to join such amazing company. I would love for you all to click the above link, and check out my special mani I created just for this honour!

💗 have a great Monday everyone!

Inspired by Wonder Woman (v. 2)

You might remember last Summer, I did some Wonder Woman inspired nails. Let’s. just call this take two. 🌟

The polishes I used for this mani were:

  • OPI My Chihuahua Bites!
  • Sinful Colours Endless Blue
  • QUO by ORLY Gold striping polish
  • QUO by ORLY Black striping polish.
  • Seche Vite.

I created my chevron moons freehand.  I really need to create a tutorial to show you guys how I do it! It’s so simple and so much easier than taping everything off! (For me at least). Would you guys want a tutorial? Just let me know in the comments below! 💙❤️

So what do you think of this mani? I’ve coveted My Chihuahua Bites! for so long and I’m so happy it’s finally mine! Thank you Winners and your fantastic polish section.   And also this blue…. This blue. 😍😍😍 such a pretty blue! Now all I need is a star tiara and some bullet proof bracelets and I’ll be all set!

Happy Friday Lovelies! 😘

Vintage roses and studs featuring QUO by ORLY water transfers.

As you’ve probably figured out, I love a good floral mani. REALLY love. I saw a mani by @perfectly_nailed on Instagram that featured roses on script and knew I wanted to recreate it! I picked up QUO by ORLY water transfers all the way back in October so I couldn’t think of a better time to try them out!

The polishes I used for this mani were:

  • Essie Big Spender (dark pink)
  • Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Birthday Suit (beige)
  • QUO by ORLY water transfers in Love Letters.
  • Born Pretty Store studs.
  • Assortment of other pink polishes that (I can’t remember! Whoops) for the roses.
  • Seche Vite

What do you think of my roses? I really adore how these turned out. I’ve been really feeling romantic manicures lately… Maybe it’s because it’s wedding season!

Dry brush nails featuring China Glaze Desert Escape collection.

Long time no see! This Summer has been a stressful one which means blogging has been forced to the back burner. I promise to keep trying to post though–and hopefully soon my non-nail life calms down some! 💗
Today I have some dry brush accent nails to share with you featuring a few of the polishes from the China Glaze Desert Escape collection. I found the minis of this collection at my local Sally’s and didn’t hesitate picking it up! And after wearing some of these gorgeous colours I’m so glad I did!

I create these dry brush accent nails for a friend’s birthday celebrations that were Music Festivel themed (think Coachella). I though the Desert Escape collection would match the theme perfectly.

The polishes I used for this manicure were:

  • Hard Candy Coconut (white base colour)
  • China Glaze Don’t Desert Me
  • China Glaze Rain Dance the Night Away
  • China Glaze Meet Me in the Mirage
  • China Glaze Don’t Mesa with my Heart.
  • QUO by ORLY Striper in black
  • Seche Vite

I seriously love how these accent nails turned out. I tried a similar mani a could months ago and my line work was just a mess! In fact, I loved this mani so much I couldn’t bare to take them off even after Don’t Desert Me started to chip! So I took it off and replaced it with Rain Dance the Night Away because it’s a seriously stunning blue!

And I full mani shot because I think it’s my new favourite.

Have you picked up any of the Desert Escape polishes? Which one is your favourite of the collection?
