Hello lovelies, it’s been WAY too long. Sorry for my impromptu hiatus… October & November have been insane for me & I haven’t had a free minute to breathe, let alone paint my nails & write a post. But I’m finally getting a free minute & super excited to share with you some PR goodies I received from Shoppers Drug Mart. They sent me a box featuring a whole bunch of Winter essential items, & since my hands were feeling VERY rough, I couldn’t wait to get a chance to take some “me” time & spoil myself a little.
Included in my PR box was 5 Quo by ORLY Breathable shades, a nourishing hand mask by Life Brand & an adorable statement ring from Joe Fresh. The Quo shades you see are Aloe, Goodbye!, Grateful Heart, Sheer Luck, Soul Sister, & Kiss Me I’m Kind.
First up, I decided to give my nails & cuticles some much needed love, so pulled out my hand mask to try out. They were super easy to apply, just open up the packet & pull out the gloves inside, then pull them apart. Then just pull over your hands, & relax for 15-20 minutes.
They recommend leaving these on for 15-20 minutes, but I kept mine on for closer to 45 minutes as my hands were in super rough shade & needed some extra moisturizing. What I love about the gloves is you could still do stuff, including use my phone! After I removed my gloves, I rubbed in the excess product into my nails & cuticles.
& the end result: super moisturized shorty nails & cuticles.
After giving my nails some extra love, I decided to keep the goodness going by creating a look using a few of the Quo by ORLY shades. I’m a huge fan of this range & they are always my first polish choice when my nails are feeling beat up. It just makes me feel like I’m treating my nails nice when I put it on, especially when I’ve been slacking on my nail care lately (& I’ve REALLY been slacking).
For this design I used Sheer Luck & Aloe Goodbye!
How do you take care of your nails when Winter comes or you’ve just been slacking on it? Share your tips in the comments below!
Don’t forget you can find all these goodies yourself at your local Shoppers Drug Mart. I’m definitely hoping to find a few of these hand masks in my stocking this Christmas!
