Happy Sunday lovelies. Today I have some more nail mail to share with you, this time featuring some brand new goodies from the Quo by ORLY. They are bringing out a ton of new polishes for both their regular formula & Breathable line. Today I have 5 polishes to share with you from the Quo by ORLY Breathable.
New Quo by ORLY Breathable Core Shades
First up, we have three shades newly added to the Breathable Line core collection. All these shades are available at Shoppers Drug Mart currently, for $11 — although I find Shoppers has great sales for the Quo by ORLY shades frequently!
Quo by ORLY Breathable — Heaven Sent
Right here you’re looking at two coats of this pretty polish–no base coat, no top coat. Heaven sent is a pearlescent sandy nude with tiny cooper flecks of glitter. Sadly the glitters seems to be more present in the bottle, rather than on the nail, but I love the fact that Quo is getting creative with their Breathable line. This would be an excellent office appropriate shade, but still fun with those little glitters. Also I find it really interesting these pearly shades are coming back again. Reminds me of my younger teenage years, when this kind of formula was really popular.
Quo by ORLY Breathable — Inner Glow
& here we have Quo by ORLY Breathable Inner Glow which is another 2 coater nail polish. This is a peachy nude shade, which also has a bit of that pearlescent formula like Heaven Sent. It’s beautiful on the nail & I can already see myself using it as a base for floral nail art.
Quo by ORLY Breathable — Staycation
I think this is my favourite of all the shade I recieved: just look at that shine & let me repeat: no top coat needed. That is two coats of Staycation & it’s absolutely perfection. As you can see above, the application of the creamy grey had no issues at all. I can see myself wearing this shade a lot as Spring approaches. & Summer. & Fall. & Winter. Basically I just want to wear it all the time.
New Limited Edition Quo by ORLY Breathable shades
Next up, I have two limited edition Breathable shades. These shades are also available at Shoppers Drug Mart now.
Quo by ORLY Breathable — Sweet Serenity
Sweet Serenity is a sheer ruby toned shade. This is two coats of which doesn’t really build but is great for hiding a bit of the yellowness that comes naturally with being a nail polish addict. This shade is too sheer for me to wear on its own (I would feel like my nails were too naked) but I think I will start using it as a base coat under my other polishes. The ruby tone will also be great for negative space designs!
Quo by ORLY Breathable — Good Karma
Okay can we please talk about this blue, because it’s absolutely beautiful! Again it’s 2 coats, no top coat or base coat & it dries down so well you don’t even notice. I mean, that shine speaks for itself. You know how much I love blue, & I don’t think I have anything else in my stash quite this shade. Which means it’s definitely going to be added to my regular blue polish rotation.
So those are a few of the new Quo by ORLY Breathable shades available now at Shoppers Drug Mart! The core shades can be found in your regular Quo by ORLY displays, & the limited edition shades can be found in separate displays in the beauty section. All polishes are available for $11.
There are a total of 8 new Quo by ORLY core shades that have been added, & 4 limited edition shades. I know I’ll be heading out to pick up a few more of the new core colours to add to my stash–Pep in Your Step & Morning Mantra are calling to me.
