Glitter Gradient Sparkle Nails ✨

Hello lovelies & happy Friday! I hope your week has been not too stressful — it was back to school week here, so it’s been busy-busy. But it’s feeling like Autumn, & I’m excited to break out my favourite Fall fashion items.

Today’s nail art look feels very Autumn to me. Give me all the shimmers & all the glitters. I love a good glitter gradient, so I really enjoy this one. Plus it gave me a chance to use the 2nd of the LA Colors Colour Shifting toppers I recently bought!

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Top Coat: Essie Good To Go Top Coat
  • Base Coat: Essie Hard to Resist (purple)
  • Sally Hansen InstaDri Zip Wine
  • LA Colors Color Shifting Topper Nova
  • ‘Ard As Nails Fairy Flakes

I’m obsessed with this combination. First off, Nova is a gorgeous topper which transforms a cream polish. The glitter then gives it an extra pow! & sparkle. It creates a beautiful purple-y colour. Very Autumn-y.

& of course, I got lots of compliments on this look while working, which always makes my whole day! There is nothing that makes my day more than random compliments on my nails.

What do you think about this glitter gradient? Do you love it as much as I do?! You have to let me know what you think!

Happy Friday

Autumn Tonal Skittle 🍁🍂🌻

Good morning loves & happy Wednesday. We’re mid-week through the first week of September! & tomorrow marks the first day of school around here. So it’s a very exciting week all around!

It’s also feeling very Autumn-y, so I’m excited to share some skittle nails which match the mood. (& would be perfect to wear while sipping some apple cider or a pumpkin spice latte!) 🍁🍂

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Top Coat: Essie Good To Go Top Coat
  • Base Coat: Essie Hard to Resist (purple)
  • China Glaze Buffalo Bills Bills Bills (thumb)
  • China Glaze Modern Auburn (index)
  • China Glaze Spice to Meet You (middle)
  • China Glaze Loves You A Latte (ring)
  • China Glaze The Snuggle is Real (pinky)
  • Essie Separated Starlight *pr

I think China Glaze is one of my favourite brands for Autumn nail polish releases. The colours, the formulas — just perfection.

I love a good Fall tonal skittle. It’s so much fun combining some of my favourite Autumn shades for a quick & easy look — & the use of the glitter brings everything together even more!

What do you think about this Fall skittle look? Do you love this combination of colours as much as I do? Let me know all your thoughts down in the comments below.

Neutral Sparkle Colour Blocking

Hello loves & happy Friday. I’ve been pretty quiet this week on the blogging front — end of Summer kind of does that to me. But I didn’t want to end this week without posting at least one nail art look, & I think this particular design is perfect.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Top Coat: Essie Good To Go Top Coat
  • Base Coat: Essie Hard to Resist (purple)
  • Beyond The Nail Glistening Fairy Nails
  • Essie Merino Cool
  • Essie Light as Linen

I love the mixed finished of this colour blocking look. You have the flakie look of Glistening Fairy Wings, the shimmer of Light as Linen & the cream finish of Merino Cool. Usually when I do my colour blocking, I stick to one — sometimes two — finished but I’ve never done anything so contrasting before (I don’t think, at least). I also really like the neutral colour palate— it’s not as eye catching as some colour blocks I’ve done, but it is so beautiful in its cooler tones.

I just really love how this looks, & I got so many compliments on them when I wore them to work.

What do you think about this neutral colour blocking look, with a touch of sparkle? Do you like how I mixed up the polish finishes? Would you wear this design?

Let me know all your thoughts down in the comments below & share what you’re wearing on your nails right now!

Happy Friday

Summer Coral Abstract Stripes

Hello lovelies & happy Friday! I hope you’re having a beautiful week so far. My August allergies have hit & hit hard so I’m sneezing my way through the days — hence why I missed posting on Wednesday. I was in an allergy induced haze.

Today I decided to go for a super Summery design, especially since I feel like I’m shifting into Autumn vibes hard.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Top Coat: Essie Good To Go Top Coat
  • Base Coat: Essie Hard to Resist (purple)
  • Essie Throw In The Towel
  • Essie Watermelon
  • Essie Peach Side Babe
  • Essie Spring Fling
  • Essie High Class Affair
  • Nailstuff.ca Mermaid Tail 7mm liner brush

How pretty did these abstract stripes turn out? I just love the combination of pinky corals. Very bright, very Summery. This is the perfect nail polish send off before I really transition into the Autumn vibes & all things pumpkin spice (already drinking it in my coffee!)

What do you think about these Summery abstract stripes? Are you looking forward to Fall as much as I am? Let me know all your thoughts down in the comments below!

Happy Friday!

Teal Ombré Nails

Hello lovelies & happy Wednesday. I hope everyone is having a beautiful Summer day on this last week of July. Truly crazy how quickly this Summer is slipping by, but I’m trying my best to enjoy it. However — only 27 days until Starbucks releases their PSL, which we all know is the official start of Autumn haha.

Today though I have a cute simple nail art look to share. It’s been absolute ages since I last shared an ombre skittle look. so I thought it was time to pull it out again. The colour scheme was inspired by my 8 year old who told me I should wear teal nails. What do you think — did I nail it?

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Top Coat: Essie Gel Setter Top Coat
  • Base Coat: China Glaze Calcium Gel Fortifier
  • Essie Mint Candy Apple (pinky)
  • Essie In The Cab-Ana
  • Essie Off Beat Chic *pr
  • Essie Revenge’s A Beach
  • Essie Garden Variety

I’ve always loved these ombre tone skittles because they’re just to easy. The hardest part is just pairing the colours together, & making sure you have that light to dark effect on your nails. Surprisingly — okay, maybe not so surprising — I had enough Essie’s to easy accomplish this look.

What do you think of this simple teal ombre skittle look? Are you a fan of these Muti shade designs? Let me know all your thoughts in the comments below, & which colour you would rock an ombre look like this using!

Happy Wednesday.
