Glam Nails Challenge October — Jack-O-Lantern 🎃

Good morning lovelies and happy Monday! I

’m so excited for today’s look for Glam Nails Challenge October! We’re getting closer to Halloween, & I’m enjoying these Halloween looks more & more. The next prompt for this month is Jack-o-Lantern, & I’m so happy with how this design turned out!

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: Essie First Base
  • Top Coat: Seche Vive
  • Cadillaquer Enchanted Woodland (NailStuff.ca exclusive!)
  • China Glaze Spice To Meet You
  • Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Fiery Island
  • Essence Wake Up
  • Starrily Vantablack
  • Sinful Colors Essen-chills Smoky Palo Santo
  • China Glaze The Snuggle Is Real
  • Sally Hansen I ❤️ Nail Art pen in green
  • NailStuff.ca 7mm detail brush

So originally I had planned on using some pumpkin Nail art stickers for this design. Unfortunately the stickers did not want to stick to my nails so I ended up going with a design. & honestly, I definitely think that was the right decision — it looks so much cuter!

I was actually nervous to attempt these little pumpkin faces, because smaller details can sometimes be hit or miss for me, but oh man I just love how they turned out! The little pumpkin faces are actually the cutest!

I also was super excited to wear Enchanted Woodland again! I haven’t worn it for over a year, & it’s a perfect base for this Halloween design. Gives off the right amount of spookiness.

What do you think of this Halloween design — do you like these not so spooky jack-o-lanterns? 🎃 would you wear this design? Let me know down in the comments below!

Fall Inspired Floral (birthday twin nails with @nailstuffca)

Hello lovelies & happy Saturday!

I usually never post on Saturday’s, but yesterday was such a busy day, I didn’t get to get this post together! These nails are twin nails I got together to do with my girl Victoria (@nailstuff.ca) — we are both October birthdays, 2 days apart, so these are some Fall floral birthday twin nails!

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: Essie First Base
  • Top Coat: Seche Vive
  • OPI Barefoot in Barcelona
  • China Glaze Autumn’s Up!
  • China Glaze Spice To Meet You
  • China Glazes Loves Em & Leaves Em
  • Essie Satin Sister
  • Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Get Mod
  • Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure So Much Fawn
  • Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Zip Wine
  • NailStuff.ca Dotting Tool Trio
  • NailStuff.ca 7mm detail brush

This design is originally inspired by @rachelsbeauty_.

My base is a bit more pink that the nude she used, but I love how my version turned out! It’s been a while since I did a floral look, & even longer since I did a Fall floral, so I was excited to team up with Victoria for these twin nails. It’s been way too long since I got to do twin nails with anyone!

& this was an extra fun way to mark our birthdays.

What do you think of this floral design? Are they giving you the Fall vibes? Let me know what you think down in the comments below! & don’t forget to check our Victoria’s twin design over at @nailstuff.ca as well!

Glam Nails Challenge October— Skeleton ☠️

Good morning lovelies & happy Thursday! We are so close to the weekend — & the middle of the month. I can’t believe we’re (almost) half way through October… the time is speeding by so quickly, it’s insane.

Today I’m keeping the spooky vibes going, & sharing the next prompt for GlamNailsChallengeOctober: Skeleton!

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

Haha, so I realize this design is a bit similar to my Skull design for this month, but I really wanted to wear this brand new (to me) Sally Hansen shade I recently picked up as an early birthday present to myself, & also I had to use this fun stamping plate from Colour Club again!

Plus — I looked & looked & have nothing straight up skeleton themed that would work on my nails, so I thought a skull & crossbones was skeleton-esque enough for this round. I thought I had some skeleton nail stickers, but if I do, they’ve gone MIA. But I think the semi-sheer skull & crossbones pattern worked out really well, & I love them more than any stickers I might have been able to find.

What do you think about this look? Do you love the designs I’ve done using this Color Club stamping plate as much as I do? Let me know in the comments below.

Glam Nails Challenge October — Graveyard 🪦

Good morning lovelies & happy Tuesday! Anyone else still recovering from the weekend?

This past weekend was Canadian Thanksgiving, so on top of working all weekend, I am a little wrung out. Hence my super late posting of these graveyard nails for GlamNailsChallengeOctober! I was actually pumped for these, because it gave me a change to pull out my What’s Up Nails graveyard vinyls I got courtesy of NailPolishCanada a few years ago.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: Essie First Base
  • Top Coat: Seche Vive
  • OPI Give Me Space
  • Starrily Space Debris
  • Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Get Mod
  • What’s Up Nails Graveyard Stencils
  • NailStuff.ca 7mm detail brush

First off, loving adding Starrily Space Debris over every polish lately for some extra holo sparkle — it looks especially good over OPI Give Me Space. I thought it was a nice starry background for my graveyards. It’s been a while since I used the stencils so I struggled a bit. You can kind of see it on my middle finger — so I went with it, & created a little ghosty, haunting my graveyard.

What do you think about these graveyard nails? Have you started to create some Halloween designs, & prep for festivities? What will you be dressing up as this year? Let me know in the comments below!

Golden Leaves

Hello lovelies & happy Friday! Switching things up with some Friday nails.

I was really feeling some leaf nails, especially as the Fall weather continues to be beautiful. This weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving, which is always feels fitting for some leaf pattern nails. I have a few of my leaf pattern nail stencils left from The Base Coat, so I thought they would be perfect to use over a base of China Glaze Loves ‘Em & Leaves ‘Em.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: Essie First Base
  • Top Coat: Seche Vive
  • China Glaze Loves ‘Em & Leaves ‘Em
  • OPI Designer Series DS Classic
  • The Base Coat Fall Leaves Nail Vinyls (no longer available)

Check out that sparkle.

It’s been a while since I pulled out my bottle of OPI DS Classic from my stash — it’s such a beautiful gold & you get that bit of holo with it as well. It definitely pops against the darkened base of Loves ‘Em & Leaves ‘Em. It just works so well in this very Autumnal design.

What do you think about this Fall leaves design? Is it perfect for some Thanksgiving celebrating? Let me know what you think down in the comments below!
