Glittery Snow Globe Inspired Nails ❄️❄️❄️

Hello loves & happy Wednesday! A chilly, icy, windy Wednesday here. Winter is quickly approaching, so I feel like some snowflake nails aren’t completely out of the realm of possibility.

I’m officially going all in on the holiday nails so if you have any requests for fun nails, let me know! I’m always up for creating some fun holiday looks to inspire people.

Don’t these just remind you of a snow globe? I love how they turned out. These were so super easy to do, & I love how beautiful they look. Plus the thick glossy top coat from NailStuff Essentials really sealed in the stickers so you don’t have to worry about any edges sticking up.

They just turned out so beautiful, & I love how that the colours are more subdued but then you also get the fun glitter.

What do you think about these glittery snowflake nails? Sadly, this was the last manicure I did with long nails — I had a pretty awful break after I wore them, & am now rocking some serious shorties. But they’ll be fun to do some Holiday nail art looks on my shorties, & also inspire those with shorties as well!

SWATCH SUNDAY — OPI Infinite Shine Put On Something Ice (Holiday 2023)

Good morning loves! & happy Sunday.

Is everyone feeling the holiday spirit yet? We just had our first big tax free event at work, & I broke out my “Happy Holo-days” sweater in honour of it. So I thought I would pull out a holiday shade for this weekends Swatch Sunday post, & this beautiful from OPI’s Terribly Nice Holiday 2023 collection seemed perfect for the occasion.

This is Infinite Shine Put On Something Ice. 🧊

2 coats + top coat.

This beautiful pearlescent base is packed full of holographic circle glitters of varying size. The base is super, duper sheer but the shimmer does add a nice bit of extra sparkle. Personally, this is probably more of a topper kind of shade for me rather than an all on its own look, unless I paired it over a nude base, but it could be fun as a base for a French manicure too!

Looking at this shade, it definitely screams holiday. Those holographic glitters definitely give off icy vibes, & I can totally picture this paired with Shaking My Sugar Plums in a fun glitter gradient. I’m definitely going to try that!

What do you think about Put On Something Ice from the OPI Terribly Nice collection from 2023. I got a few of the shades last year for Christmas, so I might share the other glitter I received if anyone is interested? I haven’t picked up any holiday shades this year yet, but I’m definitely looking around because ‘Tis the Season for glitter, & I’m all about it right now!

Iridescent Flakie Gradient Nails

Good morning lovelies & happy Tuesday! It’s a rainy & chilly Tuesday — very much November weather. So I thought I would break up some of the gloom with a pretty flakie look, because flakies make everything better.

I realized the other day I hadn’t played with any of my flakies or Chrome powders in my collection, & got this idea to do a look using them in a similar look to my favourite stained glass technique. & I think they turned out so pretty!

Look at that beautiful shift! I can’t believe I’ve taken so long to use these again. I definitely go through fazes where I use nail art stuff less than others, but I’m going to make a conscious effort to go through more stash more frequently to use these items! Because they really do give such a beautiful look on the nail!

Sparkly Holographic Swirls

I know, I’ve kind of switched up my usual posting schedule but only because the last little while has been a bit crazy! But I’ve got another fun manicure to share with you, featuring another favourite October polish. & I’m really happy with how the design turned out.

I used to do hand painted swirl designs like this all the time when I first got into nail blogging, but it’s been a while since I did one so it felt like the right time. It’s a cross between like a paisley & a kind of lace design, I guess? I decided to add another layer of holo over my base of OPI DS Extravagance which gave it even more of a POW! effect & I love it.

Just give me all the sparkle. I really, really am craving sparkle, especially with these much shorter days we’ve been having.
