Pink & Purple Half Moons

Hello lovelies & happy Wednesday! I hope the week has been treating everyone lovely so far. Today I’ve got another nail art look to share, & this time we’re going bright!

I was really in the mood for some pink & purple half moons — kind of an early Valentine’s Day look — mostly because I love a good half moon design.

The polishes I used for this manicure are: 

  • Base Coat: China Glaze Calcium Gel Fortifer
  • Top Coat: Essie Speed Setter
  • Essie Expressie IRL
  • Quo Beauty Show Stopper
  • Paper Hole Reinforcements

Gosh, I will never not love a half moon design — especially when it turns out this clean! Plus pink & purple are just the perfect combination. I thought about adding a little matte top coat as well, but I think the shiny is just too good together. 💜💗

Purple Abstract Stripes

Hello lovelies & happy Friday! We’ve made it to the end of the week. Today I’m sharing a quick easy look I did the other day that I thought was a nice pop of colour. You know how much I love some abstract stripes, & purple, so I combined the two into a bright fun look!

Loving this combination of colours. I’ll admit, January is probably my most uninspired month after all the fun holiday manicures. But this one definitely makes me happy. I’m also planning on some floral soon, which always makes the day better too. I really want to do a black roses design soon!

Pink Glittery Stripes

Hello loves & happy Monday! As happy as a cold January Monday can be. I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend. Today I’m starting off a new week with some new nail art — because that’s what we do around here.

Today’s look was an add on to yesterday’s Swatch Sunday pick. I was digging the pink nail polish, so I decided to add onto it (& keep the pink theme going!)

Okay I know these are very pink, & maybe it’s a smidge too early for anything Valentine’s Day, but these January days are long & depressing, so bring in the bright pink manicures! It’s been so long since I’ve done a simple stripe look too, so this just makes me happy.

& we can all use a little extra happiness now a days.

Easy Christmas Party Nails (with NailStuff.ca)

Good morning & happy Thursday! I hope everyone is having a lovely start to their day. It’s windy, cold, & icy here — so I’m probably going to skate to work!

I know I don’t usually post on Thursdays, but I decided I wanted to try & squeeze in a few more manicures before Christmas! Today’s look is a super simple one, using another set of nail art stickers I received from NailStuff.ca.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Dimension Nails Pygmy Sloth (c/o: NailStuff.ca) — such a good shade for Christmas
  • NailStuff.ca Merry Christmas (Gold & White) Nail Art Sticker

First off… yes my nails are super short again. I have a break on my thumb down super low, so I had to trim it down to avoid disaster, so I trimmed them all down for a fresh start. I swear, the same thing happened this exact same time last year too.

But HOW CUTE are these stickers?! I thought this gold & white set would be perfect over my red base, & I was right! These are perfect for last minute party nails, or any occasion for a little extra pizazz (without a lot of extra time!)

GLAM NAILS CHALLENGE DECEMBER — Reindeer 🦌🎄

Hello lovelies & happy Wednesday!

It’s a snowy, snowy Wednesday here on the East Coast — very festive & perfect for this time of year. I really want to go drive around & look at Christmas lights. But today, I’m keeping with my Glam Nails Challenge December manicures with the next prompt: reindeer. & I was super excited, because it finally gave me a chance to use some Christmas nail art stickers I recently picked up from my local Dollarama.

So you might remember how obsessed with the Halloween stickers that I had picked up at my local Dollarama, so I was super pumped when I saw new Christmas nail art stickers. I knew these Reindeer stickers would be perfect for this prompt! They are just so cute. Sadly, they didn’t seem to hold up on the nail as well as my Halloween ones, but they did (mostly) last the day at work.
