I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend so far. It’s been very, very humid here in Halifax. Like — remember that episode of Friends when Monica is in the Bahamas & her hair just keeps getting bigger & bigger: that’s me right now. Haha.
Today I’m sharing something really fun that was recently sent to me from Sally Hansen. They always send the best PR packages, so they sent out some glazed donuts & the means to recreate the Hailey Beiber glazed donut nails — their new Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Unicorn Top Coat.
It’s been super quiet on the blog front this week — there was a lot going on behind the scenes, so nail polish had to take a bit of a step back. Hello lovelies & happy Sunday! & a very exciting Sunday at that because today we’re going full holiday mode with Swatches of the Sally Hansen MiracleGel Joy of Colour Holiday 2021 collection. You might have seen that Sally Hansen Canada was so kind as to gift me this collection, & I was like a kid on Christmas morning opening up the package! I’m always very excited when Sally Hansen releases a new collection, but add in some Christmas glitter, & I reach full on “I need to own this collection!” so I’m. very excited to share it with you today.
We are officially half way through our week, & that means it’s time for another prompt for GlamNailsChallegeOctober! I’m really loving all these Halloween themed looks. This month is just such a fun month to get creative when it comes to your nails — & I’ve been loving all the looks I have shared so far.
Today’s prompt is: ghost! & I was especially excited for this prompt because I really wanted to try out the negative space peek-a-boo ghost design I’ve been seeing all over Instagram lately. I think its such a cute look, so I had to take a stab at my own version!

How cute did these little ghosties turn out? I love how adorable my little happy ghosts are. Like I said, I’ve been really loving seeing other versions of this design, & just had to give it my own try. Also, I feel like this is a really good look for someone who wants to try out some Halloween designs, but doesn’t want to go. to crazy.
This is definitely more of a subtle design, versus some of the Halloween designs I’ve done recently. You could even make your ghosts more subtle, if you want a Halloween nail art look that isn’t as obvious that it’s Halloween-y. This is also a super easy look to do for someone on the beginner side of nail art.

Good morning lovelies & happy Thursday! We are so close to the weekend — & the middle of the month. I can’t believe we’re (almost) half way through October… the time is speeding by so quickly, it’s insane.
Today I’m keeping the spooky vibes going, & sharing the next prompt for GlamNailsChallengeOctober: Skeleton!
Haha, so I realize this design is a bit similar to my Skull design for this month, but I really wanted to wear this brand new (to me) Sally Hansen shade I recently picked up as an early birthday present to myself, & also I had to use this fun stamping plate from Colour Club again!
Plus — I looked & looked & have nothing straight up skeleton themed that would work on my nails, so I thought a skull & crossbones was skeleton-esque enough for this round. I thought I had some skeleton nail stickers, but if I do, they’ve gone MIA. But I think the semi-sheer skull & crossbones pattern worked out really well, & I love them more than any stickers I might have been able to find.
