QUO by Orly Breathable swatches.

I’ll warn you in advance, this post is very picture heavy! I finally got a chance to swatch the 5 QUO by Orly Breathable polishes I was kindly sent for review and I couldn’t wait to share the pictures with you!

The first polish from the collection I have to share with you is Happy and Healthy which is a beautiful baby pink that applied perfectly in two coats. No base, no top coat. This kind of pink reminds me of Spring time. While it’s not a colour I wear a lot on its own, it’s very pretty!

Next up is Feeling Free. This has to be my favourite from all the polishes I received. You know me, I love a good purple. And this purple is perfection. 2 easy coats, no base or top coat. All these polishes self level so well, it’s kind of crazy. The formula did not let me down once. They were also all quick enough drying that I could still paint my nails before bed and go to sleep shortly after without having to worry about sheet marks.

The third polish I have to share from this collection is Nourishing Nude. This is probably my least favourite of the polishes I received, but only because it’s very sheer. This is 3 coat, no base or top coat and you can easy see my nail line. That being said, I can totally see myself using this as a base when doing negative space manis and it would be a great polish for anyone who needs something business appropriate.

The fourth polish I have from the breathable line is Nail Superfood. This pretty coral was the first polish I wore after my polishes arrived, and lasted pretty well through a day of work with minimal tip wear. This is 2 coats, no base or top coat. The colour is nice and bright and like all of the Breathable polishes levels well with amazing shine. You can’t even tell that there is no top coat involved.

And finally, we have The Antedote. This is definitely my second favourite polish of the polishes I received and is a perfect Fall berry.  This is 2 coats, no base or top coat. It was the only polish of the five that I found bled into my cuticles some, but clean up was simple and easy. You didn’t have to worry about any staining at all.  Removal was also easy–I wore this polish for two days, and it removed like a dream with no lingering red. Very impressive considering no base coat.

QUO by Orly polishes (including their Breathable line) are exclusively available at Shopper Drug Mart.
