Easter Mini Egg Nails 🐰🪺(Happy 11th Birthday Coffee & Nail Polish)

Hello lovelies & happy Saturday! I know what you’re thinking — I never do Saturday posts. But this is not just any Saturday… today is Coffee & Nail Polish’s 11th birthday!

How cute did these Mini Egg inspired nails turn out? Using a very thin brush of that Sephora glitter worked perfectly for the specks!

I also thought it would be the perfect look to celebrate this big blog birthday! Plus you can never go wrong with Mini Eggs — they’re the best part of Easter! (Now if only they would come out with a dairy free version…)

Bright & Vibrant Colour Blocking

Hello lovelies & happy Wednesday! & Happy April! I hope everyone is having a great week so far — it’s been a very, very wet start to our week here, but hopefully that will encourage some beautiful Spring flowers to pop up in our garden.

I love a good negative space colour block look, but I usually only do it with 2 colours — so I thought I would add a 3rd to change things up a little bit. Plus these colours are so bright & vibrant & completely make me forget the mucky weather we’ve been having — & make me think of Spring & Summer days to come! (Just ignored the raindrops that fell on them while I was trying to take pictures.)

Spring-y Pink Floral Vibes (Again)

Hello loves & happy Friday! It’s almost the weekend & isn’t that just wonderful.

Today I have more floral for you. I know — I just can’t get enough! & this one turned out especially beautiful, so I’m really excited to share it. Even though we had snow the other day, it didn’t stick & the days are definitely feeling warmer. Spring is definitely on its way, & it is lovely to feel that sunshine on your face!

I feel like this week I’ve very much been on a purple & pink kick. They’re usually the shades I have hanging around on my nail desk, so I guess that is why I grab them most frequently. I just adore how my floral turned out though, & I’m really proud of the finished product. I also think the hot pink base is especially fun. Let’s bring on some brighter days!

So what do you think about my floral design? I’m so, so ready for real Spring days! I did break out one of my floral dresses the other day, & it felt great to wear it! I cannot wait until I can wear one everyday. That’s when it will really feel like Spring!

Purple & Pink Abstract Stripes

Hello lovelies & happy Wednesday. Can you believe that we’re almost out of March? It’s crazy this year is almost 1/4 done already, but I am definitely happy to feel Spring coming.

Today I’m pulling out one of my favourite go to designs of years past. With the exception of floral (lots, & lots of floral) I haven’t really been feeling inspired nail art wise. So I turned to nail art of years past to figure out what design to show off on my nails.

It’s been a while since I did one of these abstract stripe designs, & that is just too overdue. I love the pinks & purples & blue all paired together — they’re super bright & fun!

Summoning Spring with Vintage Roses 🌹

Hello loves & happy Wednesday!

Hard to believe how quickly this month is going & it’s been so, so hard personally. But we are inching closer to Spring & Spring weather & I’m so ready for beautiful days & sunshine & all my cute Spring dresses. So in the meantime, while we wait for warmer days, how about some more floral.

I really like this combination. I think it looks so pretty, romantic & vintage looking. It actually reminds me of a design I did early in this blogs life which was totally unintentional, but I nice throwback — even if those ones were “Fall floral” & these ones are giving me a Spring vibe.

Let’s be honest — it doesn’t matter the season, floral is always a good idea.

What do you think of this look? I’m not sure what designs I’m really craving as we approach Spring; I’ve been feeling very uninspired. I’d love to know what designs or colours you’d like to see coming up! I’m always open to suggestions.
