Purple and gold x-pattern nails.

I’ve been seeing these x-pattern gradient nails popping up on Instagram a lot lately so I wanted to give them a try. Obviously striping tape wasn’t going to happen, so I decided to try freehanding them!

The polishes I used for this manicure were:

  • China Glaze Pondering
  • OPI Black Cherry Chutney
  • Stripe Rite Striping Polish in Gold
  • Seche Vite

It took some serious patience to create the x-pattern, but I’m so happy (and SO proud) with how this mani turned out!

Bestie Twin Nails with @jazzynailedit

Good morning loves! I had the opportunity to do another Bestie Twin Nails manicure with one of my very talented fellow nail artists @jazzynailedit! We created a floral based on a manicure originally done by @justagirlandhernails, just gave it a Fall spin!

Aren’t Jasmine’s flowers amazing?! You should definitely check out here page if your on Instagram! Her nails are always impeccable!

For my version of this manicure, the polishes I used were:

  • ACO by Ardene Day Dreamer
  • OPI Just BeClaus
  • China Glaze High Hopes
  • Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow
  • Seche Vite

I created all my little flowers using a small dotting tool which was surprisingly easier than I thought it was going to be!

What do you think of this Fall mani?  I’ve been trying to come up with new seasonal manicure inspiration! I’m just really excited to start Halloween manicures!

Have a great day loves!

Floral nails Inspired by @just1nail and @wonderouslypolished

I just love floral. It’s kind of verging on obsession.

I saw this manicure on Instagram by @just1nail (who was originally inspired by @wonderouslypolished) and thought it would be the perfect floral for Fall. So naturally that meant that it needed to be recreated!

The polishes I used for this mani were:

  • OPI Just Be-Claus
  • OPI I Canolli Wear OPI
  • Essie After School Boy Blazer
  • Essie Where’s My Chauffeur!
  • Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow (original formula)
  • Quo by ORLY Striper in White.
  • Seche Vite

I went with a darker blue (Essie After School Boy Blazer) for a more Fall toned manicure…. and I love them! Also I have rarely been wearing red polish lately and now that fall is here that is definitely about to change! This was my first time wearing Just Be-Claus since I picked it up, and it’s such a pretty berry red!

Let me know what you think of this mani in the comments below, and I hope you have a fabulous Monday!

Mani swap with @pawlished.kait

Finally… Some nail art!  I’ve been super busy the last couple days but I was excited to do some real nail art by joining @pawlished.kait in a mani swap!
Kait recreated my purple polka dots, and I recreated her gorgeous blue and fushia leopard print.

The polishes I used for this mani were:

  • Sinful Colors Be Happy
  • Essie The Girls Are Out
  • Sally Hansen I Love Nail Art pen in Black.
  • Seche Vite
  • L’oreal The Matte Velvet top coat.

I love how well these two colours go together! Also matte 😍😍😍 I was so excited to swap with Kait! She has so many amazing manis, and it was hard to pick just one to recreate!

If you’re not following  @pawlished.kait on Instagram you definitely should be! Not only does she have AWESOME manicures, she is a fellow crazy cat lady and posts pictures of her adorable fur babies! 😸

Something Blue floral inspired by @25_sweetpea

So you might have noticed an abundance of floral recently, even though Fall is quickly approaching. Well that’s because I’ve been on the search for the perfect bridal manicure. That’s right… I’m getting married! A week from today!

I’ve bfinally figured out what I’m doing on my nails (with a week to go). I’ve been searching for the perfect floral mani to wear day of, and thanks to my girl @26_sweetpea I found it! She posted this beautiful mani last week, and as soon as I saw it I knew!

The other night I did a wedding mani test run using Essie Bikini So Teeny and China Glaze Secret Peri-wink-le , which are my two all time favourite blues. I was having trouble deciding which one I wanted to wear.  I’ve figured it out now (and you’ll have to wait to see what I go with!) but I wanted to share the close up of this mani.

Polishes I used for my right hand were:

  • Essie Bikini So Teeny
  • Sinful Colors Easy Going
  • QUO by ORLY Striper in White
  • Sally Hansen Mauve Over
  • ACO by Ardene Mermaid
  • OPI Mod About You
  • Essie Jiggle Hi, Jiggle Lo
  • Sally Hansen I Love Nail Art pen in green.
  • Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Kiwi Bikini
  •  OPI You’re So Outta Lime!
  • Seche Vite

So what do toy think of this floral design? What would you dream wedding manicure look like? 💐

Also is anyone else as excited about the pumpkin spice latte returning as I am?! 🎃 it’s that time of year again and I LOVE it! ☕️
