Blue Jewel Drag Marble Nails 💎

Hello lovelies & happy Friday. & Happy September 1st! It maybe not be Fall to most people — or, okay, the calendar, but September 1st definitely feels like the beginning of Fall to me. So you can probably look forward to seeing more & more Autumn-eque designs moving forward.

Today’s look was what happens when it’s late at night & I’m stick on nail ideas. I wanted to paint my nails, but I was uncertain with what I should do. Naturally, I decided on a drag marble. I think they turned out really pretty, so I’m excited to share them with you!

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Colour Grip Primer Base Coat
  • Top Coat: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Glossy Top Coat
  • Essie License to Thrill
  • Essie Get Your Grove On
  • Essie Merino Cool
  • Smallest dotting tool (NailStuff.ca Dotting Tool Trio)

How beautiful did this turn out? Honestly, sometimes I do drag marbles & I hate the result –they get a bit muddled — but I think the colours on this one really compliment each other, & it turned out really looking like some kind of stone/marble.

What do you think of this drag marble design? Do you like this colour combination as much as I do? How does the beginning of a new month have you feeling? Let me know all your thoughts in the comments below!

Negative Space Purple Gold Shatter Accent Nails

Hello lovelies & happy Wednesday. It’s a rainy one here on the East Coast.

Today I’ve got some brand new nail art to share with you, that was inspired by a design my coworker showed me from Pinterest! I loved the negative space with gold foil, so I decided I recreate it with a more me colour — purple!

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Colour Grip Primer Base Coat
  • Top Coat: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Glossy Top Coat
  • OPI Suzi and the 7 Dusseldorfs
  • Essence Steel-ing the Scene
  • Dotting tool (NailStuff.ca Dotting Tool Trio)

How fun is this look?

It was actually super easy to do, which make me happy. I decided to go with a gold shard glitter, instead of gold foil, but I think the overall look hits the same! & I was excited to pull out this purple shade, because it’s been a really, really long time since I last wore it. I forgot how pretty it was!

Autumn Floral 🌼

Hello lovelies & happy Monday!

I hope everyone is having a lovely start to their week. I’m feeling all the Autumn vibes. I had my first pumpkin spice latte, I found my favourite Halloween candy in store; I am ready for Fall to begin. So naturally, that means I’m ready for Fall manicures & nail art to begin.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Colour Grip Primer Base Coat
  • Top Coat: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Glossy Top Coat
  • J Cats Beauty PNP105
  • Essie Check Your Baggage
  • Essie Chocolate Cakes
  • Sally Hansen InstaDri Up to Snuff
  • Sally Hansen InstaDri Thyme is Money
  • NailStuff.ca Mermaid Tail Brush Trio (11mm liner brush)

It’s been way too long since I last wore some floral on my nails, & this colour combination feels perfectly Fall inspired. It even compliments my coffee cup. The base shade has been sitting in my stash for a while — I think I scored it for like 99 cents at a random pharmacy — but I’m glad I decided to randomly pull it out to wear. The colour is very, very pretty.

What do you think about this Fall floral design? Do you like this colour combination, & does it scream Autumn to you? Let me know all your thoughts down in the comments below.

Vibrant Stripes with the new Sesame Street x Sally Hansen Instadri Collection

•contains pr/gifted product•

Hello lovelies & happy Wednesday! We’re officially mid week & that much closer to the weekend. It’s been a busy week for me so far, so I feel like that’s reflected in my nail art. When it’s stressful/busy times, I definitely don’t have the time or energy for more complicated nail art.

But! I have some exciting nail art to share with you today because it features some nail polish I was recently surprised with! Friday I came home to some surprise nail mail from Sally Hansen featuring the Sally Hansen x Sesame Street InstaDri collaboration. I really couldn’t wait for a chance to try these shades out, so I decided to pair a few in a quick freehand stripe look.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Colour Grip Primer Base Coat
  • Top Coat: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Glossy Top Coat
  • Sally Hansen x Sesame Street InstaDri 1 Polish, Ah Ah Ah
  • Sally Hansen x Sesame Street InstaDri Am I Not Adora-blue?
  • Sally Hansen x Sesame Street InstaDri Turquesa Brillante
  • Sally Hansen x Sesame Street InstaDri SCRAM!
  • NailStuff.ca Mermaid Tail Brush Trio (11mm liner brush)

I guess we’re back to Summer, haha. Even though I had fully embraced the Fall flakie vibes with my previous manicure, I am very much in love with the colour scheme of this design. They’re very bright, & colourful, which is perfect for a collection based on something like Sesame Street. I’m looking forward to swatching all the shades to shade for this weekend’s Swatch Sunday post.

What do you think of this bright & colourful stripe-y look? Are you a fan of this colourful design? Have you seen the Sally Hansen clx Sesame Street shades in any of your nail polish haunts? Let me know all your thoughts in comments below!

Blue Matte Leopard Print

Hello lovelies & happy Wednesday! We are half way to the weekend, woo-hoo!

Today I’m sharing another fun look that I’m kind of obsessed with. I saw this manicure on Pinterest, & knew immediately I needed to recreate it! I love a good leopard print, & it’s been a while since I had done one, & the bright matte blue was just too good.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Colour Grip Primer Base Coat
  • Top Coat: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Glossy Top Coat
  • Matte Top Coat: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Matte Top Coat
  • Essie All The Wave
  • Essie Mosaic On Down
  • Sally Hansen I ❤️ Nail Art Pen in Black (Round)
  • NailStuff.ca Dotting Tool Trio

I love the gold over the bright cobalt blue. It looks so good!

I’ve always been a fan of leopard print nails, even in the early days of this blog. I don’t do them nearly as often as I should, but they’re definitely in my top five favourite nail art styles. There are endless colour options, pattern options — plus it’s an easy nail art style I feel like even the most beginner nail artist can do.
