Autumn Tonal Skittle 🍁🍂🌻

Good morning loves & happy Wednesday. We’re mid-week through the first week of September! & tomorrow marks the first day of school around here. So it’s a very exciting week all around!

It’s also feeling very Autumn-y, so I’m excited to share some skittle nails which match the mood. (& would be perfect to wear while sipping some apple cider or a pumpkin spice latte!) 🍁🍂

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Top Coat: Essie Good To Go Top Coat
  • Base Coat: Essie Hard to Resist (purple)
  • China Glaze Buffalo Bills Bills Bills (thumb)
  • China Glaze Modern Auburn (index)
  • China Glaze Spice to Meet You (middle)
  • China Glaze Loves You A Latte (ring)
  • China Glaze The Snuggle is Real (pinky)
  • Essie Separated Starlight *pr

I think China Glaze is one of my favourite brands for Autumn nail polish releases. The colours, the formulas — just perfection.

I love a good Fall tonal skittle. It’s so much fun combining some of my favourite Autumn shades for a quick & easy look — & the use of the glitter brings everything together even more!

What do you think about this Fall skittle look? Do you love this combination of colours as much as I do? Let me know all your thoughts down in the comments below.

Teal Ombré Nails

Hello lovelies & happy Wednesday. I hope everyone is having a beautiful Summer day on this last week of July. Truly crazy how quickly this Summer is slipping by, but I’m trying my best to enjoy it. However — only 27 days until Starbucks releases their PSL, which we all know is the official start of Autumn haha.

Today though I have a cute simple nail art look to share. It’s been absolute ages since I last shared an ombre skittle look. so I thought it was time to pull it out again. The colour scheme was inspired by my 8 year old who told me I should wear teal nails. What do you think — did I nail it?

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Top Coat: Essie Gel Setter Top Coat
  • Base Coat: China Glaze Calcium Gel Fortifier
  • Essie Mint Candy Apple (pinky)
  • Essie In The Cab-Ana
  • Essie Off Beat Chic *pr
  • Essie Revenge’s A Beach
  • Essie Garden Variety

I’ve always loved these ombre tone skittles because they’re just to easy. The hardest part is just pairing the colours together, & making sure you have that light to dark effect on your nails. Surprisingly — okay, maybe not so surprising — I had enough Essie’s to easy accomplish this look.

What do you think of this simple teal ombre skittle look? Are you a fan of these Muti shade designs? Let me know all your thoughts in the comments below, & which colour you would rock an ombre look like this using!

Happy Wednesday.

Jewel Toned Skittle 💎

Good morning lovelies. I hope everyone is feeling okay-ish this morning. I know things are feeling pretty down for a lot of people right now so I’m sending love.

Today I’m sharing an easy November look. One of the things I feel myself drawn to this time of year is jewel tones. Even though I’m not feeling full on holiday nails quite yet, I do enjoy holiday nail polishes from years past. So I thought I would combine a few fun ones from years past into a gorgeous skittle.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: NailStuff Essentials Base Coat *
  • Top Coat: Nail Stuff Essentials Quick Dry Top Coat *
  • Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Under The Tree
  • Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Wrapped in Love
  • Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Hyp-nautical
  • Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Me, My Elf & I
  • Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Hue There?
  • Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Make It N-Ice

How gorgeously do these polishes compliment each other? I feel like I’m always trying to create the perfect skittle look, & finally feel like this one is it! The jewel tones, the added glitter. It just all came so together so perfectly — probably why I’ve been wearing this look for over 4 days! See

What do you think about this jewel toned skittle? Are you getting excited about holiday collection releases? Which nail polish collections are you most excited about for the Holidays? Let me know all your thoughts in the comments below!

Easy Halloween Skittle with Ella + Mila

*contains PR

Hello lovelies & happy Thursday! The countdown is officially on — we have one week until Halloween! Guess it is time to sneak in as many Halloween manicures as I can!

Today we’re starting off easy with some Halloween nail art stickers on a skittle. I was recently gifted some beautiful polishes from Ella + Mila, & I thought they would be a fun base for some new Dollarama nail art stickers! So I paired the colours together with a few simple stickers & I think it turned out so fun. Chic & simple.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: Ella + Mila All About The Base (Base Coat) *
  • Top Coat: Ella + Mila In A Rush (Top Coat) *
  • Ella + Mila Oasis *
  • Ella + Mila Dragonfly *
  • Ella + Mila Violet Skies
  • Ella + Mila Zephyr *
  • Dollarama Halloween Nail Art Stickers

*gifted

How beautiful are these shades from Ella + Mila? I feel like these colours are perfect for Halloween nail art that’s not typical colours. I mean, I feel like purple & orange are classic Halloween colours, but the dark purple & pink do work as well too. I will have full Swatches of the whole collection I was send coming hopefully this weekend, or the next. But I couldn’t wait to put on a few of the shades as soon as I received them! They’re just so beautiful.

(You can use THIS LINK to check out their site — it is an affiliate link so thank you if you use it!)

& I recently found more fun new Halloween nail art stickers at my local Dollarama store, so naturally I needed to use them immediately. For $1.25 they’re such a steal!

What do you think about this manicure? Do you like this Halloween skittle? Would you wear this design? Let me know all your thoughts down in the comments below!

Happy Thursday.
