SWATCH SUNDAY — Sally Hansen x Sesame Street InstaDri Collection

Hello loves & happy Sunday! I know we may be sick of the Sally Hansen x InstaDri content this week, but I’m just so excited to share the shades from this collection with you!

The Sally Hansen x Sesame Street InstaDri collection consists on 10 polishes — 4 creams, 2 glitter toppers, 2 metallic/shimmery shades, & 2 jelly glitters. It’s a great assortment of different shades brought together under one great collection. There is also a fun set of press on nails as part of their Salon Effect Perfect Manicure line (although I won’t be featuring those as part of my swatches.

Each shade is based around a corresponding Sesame Street character (or, characters) which is a fun idea. & I think all the polishes fit perfectly!

Fall Flakie Skittle

Hello lovelies & happy Monday. It’s a beautiful chilly Monday morning here, & I’ll have to admit it… I’m loving it. Autumn is my favourite season, the Halloween decorations have started popping up in store, & it’s officially PSL release day at Starbucks on Thursday. So I think I’m ready to (fully) embrace some Fall nail polish vibes.

The other day it was a very rainy, chilled day so I decided to grab a few Autumn-ish shades from my stash for a skittlette. I bought this Color Club set from Winners (or Marshall’s… can’t remember) last year & it has a beautiful selection of colours. None of them, however, have any names. But I really wanted to pair them together, & I think this is one of my favourite Skittle designs I’ve ever done because of how beautiful they look together!

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Top Coat: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Glossy Top Coat
  • Color Club blue-ish grey

  • Color Club dusty rose

  • Essie Shine of the Times

Obviously, I had to add some sparkle to this look, & there is no better sparkle to pull out this time of year than Essie Shine of the Times. It adds the most beautiful sparkle to whatever polish to apply it to, & jazzes up every manicure!

Purple Glitter Sparkle Gradient

Hello lovelies & happy Monday! A brand new week to enjoy. Today, I’m sharing a little bit of sparkle with you to start off this week. I recently was feeling stuck for inspiration, so I decided to grab one of my favourite purple OPIs Dutch You Just Love OPI?, & a pretty glitter OPI, & create a quick, easy glitter gradient!

The polishes I used for this manicure are: 

  • Base Coat: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Colour Grip Primer Base Coat 
  • Top Coat: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Glossy Top Coat
  • OPI Dutch You Just Love OPI?
  • OPI Charmmy & Sugar
  • Latex free make up sponge (mine are from Dollarama)

Check out that sparkle! I love it. I don’t know if I’ve ever worn this pretty sparkle before (it’s from the 2016 OPI x Hello Kitty collaboration) but I think it looks incredible over this purple. I love a good glitter gradient, & sometimes you find two polishes that just go together so perfectly. I love that moment.

Pink Barbie Skittle Nails 🩷

Good morning lovelies & happy Wednesday!

It’s a beautiful sunny day here on the East Coast, but I won’t lie… the last few days have felt surprisingly Autumn-like compared to the weather we’ve been having. Cooler mornings, & that little bit of breeze. But you know, I’m still feeling those Summer vibes, & I want to fully enjoy that a bit longer before I pull out my darker shades & my Fall plaids.

Today I’m feeling Summer Barbie vibes with this fun pink skittle look!

I’m kind of sad how freaking hidden the Glazed top coat turned out to be on my nails, but I feel like the direct sunlight definitely contributed to that too. Either way, I think this pink skittle look is so much fun, & it was nice to pull out so many of my China Glaze pinks for this look! I’ll be honest, I haven’t grabbed from that drawer in a while, & I kind of forgot about what was in there.

Barbiecore Chevron Moons 💗🌙

Hello lovelies & happy Friday! I hope everyone has had a lovely week. It’s (almost) the weekend!

I’m super pumped because I am going to see Barbie tonight for a Bachelorette thing — my first time to the movies since I was pregnant with my now six year old! I’m so excited for this movie, so naturally I had to do some Barbie pink nails for the occasion. & I knew that the new pink shades in the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel 90s collection were the perfect choices for my vibrant Barbie look!

I truly think that chevron moon designs (like this) still remain one of my all time favourite nail art looks! & it’s been so long since I did one, which is kind of crazy.

But if there was ever a perfect Barbie nail art look, this one might be it. & I’m very excited to show off this nail art look when sipping my Diet Coke at the movies tonight!
