Today I’m so excited because Victoria at NailStuff.ca has once again released some new beauties as part of her NailStuff Essentials line. This time, we have 3 beautiful cream shades; White Dove, Raven & Cardinal. & I’m lucky enough to be able to share swatches of all three with you today!
Hello lovelies & happy Wednesday! Halfway through the week, & only 4 days away from December 1st. Who else hasn’t started their Christmas shopping yet?
Today I’m showing off more glittery nails on my shorties. I was feeling some handprinted snowflakes, since they’ve been all over my Instagram feed, so I decided to give them a go. & obviously, I needed a good base for them to pop over, so I picked some more sparkles. After all, ’tis the season for sparkle!

How pretty did these little snowflakes turn out. I’ve never been the most comfortable free handing my snowflakes, but I was feeling pretty confident after watching way too many tutorial videos. & they turned out absolutely beautiful, & I’m very proud of that.
I’m trying not to get too Christmas-y on my nails yet, as Glam Nails Challenge December starts next Wednesday, & I’m going all in to end this year! There are so many great prompts, so I’m really excited for some fun designs to end this year strong.
What do you think of my twinkling snow flakes? Has it snowed where you are yet? We haven’t had anything more than a couple flurries, but they are calling for a potential snowstorm at the end of the week which is crazy!

As you may have noticed in yesterday’s post, I’m back to rocking shorter nails. & Sometimes short nails can feel kind of lame, so I decided to do something fun. I’m all about the glitter right now, so I felt like some sparkle was much needed — & I wanted to create another version of this nail art lookI did last New Year’s Eve, but with a darker base this time.

How cute are these little sparkles? I tried my best to get a little sparkle in each dot but it wasn’t always the easiest. Still looks so pretty against the darker blue base shade of Less is Norse.
It’s also giving me Christmas inspo to try this with a white base & green & red glittery polishes!

Hello lovelies & happy Sunday! I hope everyone has been having a lovely weekend. I actually had this weekend off from work, so I’ve been relaxing & enjoying doing a whole lot of nothing — especially since Holiday shopping craziness is really kicking into high gear!
Today I’m excited to share another fun OPI Holiday shade, this time from 2016! This is Fire Escape Rendezvous.
2 coats + top coat
The formula on this shade is pretty easy to work with. The base is a beautiful almost metallic blood red filled with a slew of different shaped silver glitters. They create an interesting texture on the nail, as the base is thin enough to show them off, but still buries them slightly. I know not everyone loved this shade when it first got released — it’s not as hated as say, Pineapples Have Peelings Too, but it wasn’t universally loved. Personally, I love it & its uniqueness. Plus, it’s one of those reds that when I wear it, I’ve had people literally go “Oh your nails!”
I remember being so beyond excited when OPI released this Breakfast At Tiffany’s collection for Holiday 2016, because it’s been one of my favourite movies as long as I can remember. Back when it was first released (8 years ago… how crazy is that?!) I was 7 months pregnant with my son, so buying the whole collection wasn’t in my budget, but I did find this red shade at my local Marshall’s & naturally had to snap it up.
I just think it’s so unique & different, & as someone who owns a ton of reds, I like one that it slightly different.

Hello loves & happy Wednesday! A chilly, icy, windy Wednesday here. Winter is quickly approaching, so I feel like some snowflake nails aren’t completely out of the realm of possibility.

Don’t these just remind you of a snow globe? I love how they turned out. These were so super easy to do, & I love how beautiful they look. Plus the thick glossy top coat from NailStuff Essentials really sealed in the stickers so you don’t have to worry about any edges sticking up.
They just turned out so beautiful, & I love how that the colours are more subdued but then you also get the fun glitter.
What do you think about these glittery snowflake nails? Sadly, this was the last manicure I did with long nails — I had a pretty awful break after I wore them, & am now rocking some serious shorties. But they’ll be fun to do some Holiday nail art looks on my shorties, & also inspire those with shorties as well!
