Autumn Gradient Nails 🍁

Hello lovelies & happy Wednesday! & happy October!

I know what you’re thinking — no Glam Nails Challenge? As much I’ve had fun the last couple months, I decided to take this month off because I have so many Fall/Halloween designs brewing in my head, I didn’t want to feel restricted!

First design of October is pure Autumn vibes. I created a beautiful subtle gradient using a few of the China Glaze Halloween 2019 shades & then added a little bronze leaf accent on a few nails. I just love how this design came together.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: Essie First Base
  • Base Coat: LA Colors Mega Grow Treatment
  • Top Coat: Essie Speed Setter
  • China Glaze Private Side-eye
  • China Glaze Arrest in Peace
  • China Glaze Get Off My Cold Case
  • Color Club Sidewalk Psychic
  • NailStuff.ca Clear Stamper
  • Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate BP-L026

So originally I was just planning on wearing this Gradient, but even though it’s beautiful it felt like it was just missing something! The addition of a few stamped maple leaves brought everything together! & I think it looks so beautiful. It looks perfect paired with my cosy scarf — which was a necessity on a chilly day like today!

Fall is definitely in the air! 🍂🍁

Purple Holographic Glitter Gradient 💜✨

Happy Wednesday lovelies.

The sun is shining, & that is more than enough reason for some holographic nails! I was feeling some serious glitter, & I think this manicure achieved that.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: Essie Here to Stay
  • Top Coat: Essie Gel Setter
  • Color Club Pucci-Licios
  • Nubar Treasure
  • Color Club Top Shelf
  • Starrily Space Debris

Look at that sparkle! ✨ yes, I have quite a few polishes layered to achieve this look, but it’s totally worth it. It’s been a rough week & a half, so a little extra sparkle is totally what the universe ordered. It makes me smile, & feel extra pretty.

What I love is I didn’t even need any tools to achieve this — just a little patience to apply the glitter to my tips! Definitely obsessed with the over all sparkle, especially when I’m in the sunshine.

How do we feel about these extra sparkly gradient nails? Are we a fan? Let me know all your thoughts down in the comments below!

Have a lovely day!

Under the Sea Stamped Nail Art 🪸🌊

Hello lovelies & happy Wednesday. Sorry for a quiet week so far — with the kids being off school, sometimes it’s hard to get my posts done!

But I’m really excited to share my nails today, because I feel like these are really fun! I originally started out with just my gradient nails, but felt like something was missing so I added some fun stamping—that reminded me of sea weed—over top.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: Essie Here to Stay
  • Top Coat: Essie Gel Setter
  • CND Vinylux Lost Labyrinth
  • Icing Stores Starlight
  • Icing Stores Black
  • Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate BP-L026
  • Nailstuff.ca clear stamper & scraper set

Does that not look like seaweed, under the water? If only I had some cute fish nail art stickers strategically added, then I would really sell the ocean vibes! But I still think the stamping gave the look I was going for.

What do you think of these stamped nails? Did you guess ocean? Let me know all your thoughts down in the comments below!

Neon Glitter Gradient ☀️😎

Hello lovelies & happy Tuesday! It’s going to be a very nice warm Spring-y Tuesday, so I feel like today’s manicure is perfect for warmer days!

I was feeling something bright, neon & poppy — & this manicure is all of those things!

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: China Glaze Calcium Gel Fortifer
  • Top Coat: LA Girl Rapid Dry Top Coat
  • Ardene Bright Lights, Big City
  • Essie Expressie FX Iced Out
  • China Glaze Let The Beat Drop

These feel really fun. I like the pink/orange glitter over the bright neon yellow— which is not a colour I wear frequently—& the little shimmer from Iced Out.

How much fun are these?! I’m so ready for consistently warmer days.

What do you think of my neon glitter gradient? Is it giving off Summer vibes? Let me know all your thoughts in the comments below!

Happy Tuesday!

Glitter Gradient Nails (With Revlon Nail Art Expressionist Duo)

Good Morning & happy Wednesday! It’s a snowy, messy, gross Wednesday here with a little bit of everything a winter storm can offer. But I’m excited because I have a fun (& easy) nail art look to share with you today using an old school polish that I found at my local Dollarama! Every so often, older polish collections & nail art items pop up in the beauty aisle. So I was pumped when I saw a few of these Revlon Nail Art Duos from 2015 show up at my local Dollarama.

My local Dollarama had two different styles in stock — one neon one, & the one Santa slipped into my stocking called 350 Ulterior Motif. It has a dark metallic gunmetal base shade, with a rose gold glitter for accenting.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Base Coat: China Glaze Calcium Gel Fortifer
  • Top Coat: Essie Speed Setter
  • Revlon Nail Art Duo 350 Ulterior Motif

Don’t mind the tip wear — I stupidly photographed these after wearing them for a full work shift. But I love how easy this duo made it to create a funky nail art look, with no tools needed. I definitely didn’t take advantage of these sets when they were originally released — which is a shame, because they make nail art super easy!

Do you remember the Revlon Nail Art Duos from the mid-2010s? Did you have/do you have any in your nail polish stash? After using this one, I kind of want to go back & get the neon style because it will be fun to use in the Summer!

Have a lovely day ♥︎
