Hello lovely & happy Friday! It feels like absolutely forever since I posted anything Fashion Friday. Winter did not inspire me in the least. But now the days are warmer & I’ve been feeling inspired to dress up again.
So truth be told, I’m a bit of an emotional clothes hoarder. I hold on to clothing the way some people hold onto photo albums — I revisit them, remembering the people & moments attached to them. I love pulling out old clothes I haven’t worn in a while, just to take a quick walk down memory lane. So just for fun, I decided to pull a few dresses from lifetimes past, & do a quick then & now.
It’s been absolute ages since I put up a Fashion Friday post, so I thought a quick OOTD post would be fun. I recently went through & organized my closet (again!), so it’s been making me want to wear all the clothes I haven’t grabbed in a while. Like this cute polka dot blouse! It’s super old — pretty sure I first bought it in 2012-ish — & I haven’t grabbed it to wear in longer than I can remember! I would have loved to wear this outfit as a dress instead of with jeans, but when it’s -13 degrees outside, you have to make some adjustments.
Mostly that entails 3 pairs of tights under my jeans, & a lot of layers. Have I mentioned I miss Summer?
Have do you show off your personal style during the Winter months? Do you have any tricks for feeling cute without freezing? Tell me all your secrecy’s, & let me know what you think of this OOTD.

Hello lovelies & happy Friday!
It’s been a long, long while since my last Fashion Friday post, & the weather has certainly shifted since my last OOTD post. We’ve gone from light Fall breezes to full on snowstorms, which means my fashion choices have transformed as well.
& how would I describe my fashion style for the current Autumn weather? It’s all about layers!
This look is definitely one I’ve been repeating, featuring different the different sweaters in my closet. I’m all about the layers, & keeping warm, so I’ve been piling knits on top of knits from head to toe. & for some odd reason, late Fall/Winter is the only time where I actually reach for leggings. But don’t worry—I’ve got an extra pair of tights on underneath, because I am always way too cold.
& my current favourite accessory right now, aside from these Nine West Knee High Booties I’ve own since University? The beanie! Not going to lie, Mary Kate & Ashley are once again inspiring my fashion choices with their flawless New Yorker style. But, to be honest, when aren’t they?
So what do you think about this look? I’d say oversized sweaters, leggings, & excessive layers are definitely my Fall uniform. What about you? What are your current style staples? Let me know in the comments below!
Hello lovelies & Happy Friday. It’s been a while since I posted a Fashion Friday post, which is a shame because I feel like Autumn is when my style really shines. I’m a girl about layers, & Fall is when I really come alive!
We’ve been changing rooms around at home, among other craziness, so I haven’t done a dedicated OOTD post, but I thought it could be fun to do a snapshot of what my Fall wardrobe has looked like so far this September. I definitely have plans to do a favourite Fall clothing item post coming up too!
The other night I was perusing my Pinterest, browsing through my folder titled “Style Inspiration”, starting to mentally plan some Fall looks (& make a list of clothing I want to add to my closet), & realized that a lot of my personal style can be traced back to the same “muses”. To be honest, while my style has evolved, it hasn’t changed a whole lot over the years.
I thought it might be fun to go through, & share with you guys who I considered my person style inspirations & muses.
