GLAM NAILS CHALLENGE DECEMBER (2024) — Ornaments 🎄✨

Hello loves & happy Friday. It’s a busy Friday here, & Christmas is so close. It is also time for the next prompt of Glam Nails Challenge December which is ornaments. & I had the perfect nail art stickers from NailStuff to create this easy look!

The polishes I used for this manicure are: 

How cute are the holographic gold & white nail art stickers?! I chose a darker base shade so they would really pop against it & show off! & then used a thick & glossy top coat to seal them in best I could so no edges would be pulled. & I just think they look so beautiful — plus they were simple easy to do. & that holographic finish really catches people’s attention.

What do you think about this ornament nails (poised perfectly in front of my own decorated Christmas tree)? I do love a simple nail art look sometimes & there is nothing less time consuming than nail art stickers!

Autumn Gradient Nails 🍁

Hello lovelies & happy Wednesday! & happy October!

I know what you’re thinking — no Glam Nails Challenge? As much I’ve had fun the last couple months, I decided to take this month off because I have so many Fall/Halloween designs brewing in my head, I didn’t want to feel restricted!

First design of October is pure Autumn vibes. I created a beautiful subtle gradient using a few of the China Glaze Halloween 2019 shades & then added a little bronze leaf accent on a few nails. I just love how this design came together.

So originally I was just planning on wearing this Gradient, but even though it’s beautiful it felt like it was just missing something! The addition of a few stamped maple leaves brought everything together! & I think it looks so beautiful. It looks perfect paired with my cosy scarf — which was a necessity on a chilly day like today!

Fall is definitely in the air! 🍂🍁

GLAM NAILS CHALLENGE SEPTEMBER (2024) — Rainy Weather 💦

Hello beauties & happy Monday!

Sorry for my quietness & lack of Swatch Sunday post yesterday — I’ve been dealing with the most horrendous allergies the last few weeks, & this weekend was especially brutal so I was basically a write off yesterday. As much as I love & adore Fall, I don’t love & adore how my seasonal allergies ramp up as soon as the season changes.

But I’m not going to let my allergies get in the way of the next post, because we only have a few more prompts left for this month’s Glam Nails Challenge. The next prompt is Rainy Weather, & I decided to go a little bit different for my design so I hope you like it!

Okay, so I’ve seen this look a few times & I thought it would be a cool idea for this rainy weather prompt. Basically you start with matte nails & then add “drops” of shiny top coat which is supposed to give the effect of like raindrops. Did I completely capture what I was going for? Well… you be the judge of that. But I think for a first try, this look did up coming out pretty cool & I do like it.

& it’s definitely something I want to try again in the future!

Autumn Colour Blocking 🍁🍂

Hello lovelies & happy Friday! I hope everyone is having the loveliest of Fridays… the weekend is almost here! I thought I would break up the Glam Nails Challenge content with something different. I’m full into the Autumn vibes now, so a Fall inspired colour blocking was exactly what I was feeling!

As I mentioned in my Swatch Sunday post, I’ve really been digging into my China Glaze stash lately & really loving all the polishes from Autumn collections past. So I pulled out a few Autumn shades to enjoy.

Don’t mind those bit of wrinkles — I may have been rushing a smidge when I was doing this mani, so I did muck it up just a smidge. But it still turned out beautifully, & I think these colours just go together so beautifully. I’m definitely going to need to remember this colour combo so I can use it again, maybe in a stripe or chevron look!

Good morning lovelies & happy Wednesday! It’s a beautiful & slightly chilly day here on the the East Coast — very Fall-like. Makes you want to snuggle up in your favourite cardigan & sip on pumpkin spice!

Today we have another Glam Nails September look to share, for the prompt Sunflower. This one I’m very excited about because I feel like it turned out so beautifully, & it’s embodies Autumn vibes to a tee!

Okay, how perfect is this colour combination? I’ve been wanting to apply Starrily Magma over a dark green for a while now, & I think it turned out so beautifully. It really reminds me of a leaf, mid change in the Fall. I’m obsessed.

Secondly, I just love these little sunflowers turned out. The colours compliment the base so perfectly, & they just look so perfect. 🌻 I couldn’t have asked for it to turn out more perfectly, & I honestly never wanted to take them off. I could have worn them for weeks… if I didn’t have other manicures to complete this month!

What do you think about my cute little sunflowers? Do you love this look as much as I do? Oh man, I always forget about floral for Fall, but it is beautiful! 🧡
