Magnetic Autumn Leaves 🍂

Hello loves & happy Friday! The weekend is (almost) upon us.

Today I’m sharing a fun, & easy, Autumn look using magnetic nail polish & nail vinyls. Sometimes, I don’t want a crazy nail art look, but I still want something eye catching. This look was exactly what I was looking for.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

I liked adding Magma over Private Side Eyes because the scattered holo show through in some light which is fun. It’s subtle, but it’s definitely there. The leaves are also definitely a subtle addition, but that was what I was going for — I wanted them to be a surprise you notice depending on how you move your nail.

It also inspired me to try the opposite way — using a black base colour, & then using the magnetic for the leaves. I’ll definitely be trying that one next.

It’s been too long since I pulled out nail vinyls, so I think I need to do it more often — & maybe even buy myself some new ones for Halloween/Christmas! I don’t think I’ve purchased any in at least 5 years which is kind of crazy. So obviously I need to go shopping!

Tiny Galaxies On My Nails 🪐✨

Hello lovelies & happy Monday. & happy Labour Day.

I hope everyone had a good weekend. It was rainy, & wet, & a bit spooky… very Autumn. I even broke out the tights which was exciting (minus the rain). Today is supposed to be a seasonable nice day, & no rain, so I’m going to enjoy it.

Today though, I have some cute nails to show. How long has it been since I did a galaxy look? A while for sure. These cute little galaxies were super simple to do, & I didn’t even use any sponges or anything. The only tools I had was my detail brush for the stars.

Oh I love how these turned out.

I knew I wanted to do a galaxy look, but I decided it at 9:30pm & then realized I didn’t have any sponges so I had to pivot. But I”m actually really happy with the effect it created. It is absolutely giving Space 🌌 & I love love love them.

70s Groovy Autumn Vibes 🍂✨

Hello lovelies & happy Monday. It is rainy, & gloomy, & humid outside, & I’m really not enjoying it. It has me dreaming of better days — aka, Autumn. I did my best, I tried my hardest, but honestly… I just love Fall. I love everything about Fall, & I can’t wait for it to be here! I want knee high boots, tights, & plaid skirts, okay?

So I felt like some fun Autumn-esque toned nails were exactly what I needed.

I also had a horrendous break on my middle finger while opening a bin of coffee beans at work, so a bit snip was in order. But just because my nails are super duper short, doesn’t mean they can’t be cute!

I love this colour combination together too. I picked out my colours before I knew what kind of design I was going to do, but it came together so fun! The colours work together so beautifully, & it is giving both 70s wallpaper vibes, & early Autumn.

My only gripe is a I wish I had mixed up my swirls & my flowers better so they alternated, but it’s such a small thing it doesn’t take away from how fun these look.

What do you think of this Autumn inspired look, featuring my brand new super shorties? Personally I’m really happy with how these turned out — & especially the colour combination. It’s giving just enough Fall vibes to keep this girl going until she gets her hands on her very first PSL.
