Hello lovelies & happy Friday. I hope everyone’s had a great week so far.
The weekend is almost here & it’s Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada so I expect to be in a full food coma by Sunday night. I thought it would be fun, though, so start my Spooky Season nails with a fun little skull & cross bones design.
How fun as these?! Again, I got to use another one of those beautiful Essie shades I was recently gifted which is very exciting. Sadly, I wore these on a day when it was cloudy & rainy so the fun holo effect was not showing up very well.
What do you think of this fun holo skull look? Just a little dip into the Halloween nails to come. ☠️ You know me, Halloween is my favourite season for nail art, so I’m excited to share lots of fun designs with you.
Hello lovelies & happy Wednesday! & a chilly Wednesday at that. October is really speeding along, isn’t it?
Today I’m excited because I recently received some PR from Essie & they were more than generous sending me 25 polishes (!!!) from their regular line, Expressie line & Gel Couture line. Happy early birthday to me. So naturally, as soon as I received these shades I had to grab a few to do my nails with! & since it’s been a while since I rocked them, I decided to test out some new polishes with a little abstract stripe action.
Oh man, I’m so excited by new nail polish — it’s actually hard to convey via blog post, but expect to see a lot of Essie manicures over the next little while. There are some shades I received that I can’t wait to swatch for you!
What do you think about this Autumn abstract stripe design? Are you as excited for some fun Essie manicures to come? Let me know all your thoughts down in the comments below.
It’s been a little while since my last drag marble design, & this one turned out beautifully. The colours alone are stunning, & they look like gemstones. I’m obsessed.
I had originally just painted my nails with Black & Blue, but they were feeling kind of plain, so I broke out the drag tool & turned them into something stunning. & the colours are perfect for Autumn— but truthfully I would probably wear these any time of the year!
So what do you think of this drag marble? Have you ever tried a drag marble design before? I’ve never been good at water marble, so they’ve always been my marbling go to design! & I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of how they look!
Good morning lovelies & happy Monday! It’s a beautiful day, feeling ever so Autumn-like, so I feel like today’s manicure is the perfect match. We’re onto the next prompt of Glam Nails Challenge September, which is Autumn leaves. 🍁🍂
How cute did these turn out? My stamping did show up a little bit lighter than I was hoping, but I do love how pretty this colour combination is! Also I’ve been having so much fun digging through all my polishes of Autumn’s past & pulling out some forgotten favourites — like these beauties from Essie.
What do you think about this design? Are you enjoying the prompts so far this month? I know I certainly am enjoying all the Fall-themed prompts, & I’m excited to share more!

Hello lovelies & happy Monday! & Happy Labour Day! We’re jumping right into the Autumn nail art designs with this month’s Glam Nails Challenge September.
I was debating whether or not I was going to do another month, but then my first design I did happened to be a plaid design — which is the first prompt of this month, so I was like… let’s just do this! I had so much fun last month while feeling challenged creatively, I think I want to give it another go. & this month definitely has some great prompts as well!
The polishes I used for this manicure are:
Base Coat: Essie First Base
Top Coat: Essie Speed Setter
Matte Top Coat: Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Matte Top Coat
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Just In Wine
Essie East Hamptons Cottage
Essie Mani Thanks!

Does anyone else just immediately want to pull all the plaid out of their closet as soon as the mornings start feeling slightly cooler? I definitely do. I also want to paint plaid on my nails, because it just feels fitting. Pair these with a pair of over the knee socks, & the Autumn vibes are strong. I also feel like this is an easier, simpler design to do — albeit you do need a bit of a steadier hand for straight lines. But with a long striper brush, it does simplify the design a bit.
Definitely a design I recommend any beginner nail artist to try, & just trust the process. If you look at a plaid material, the pattern isn’t perfect so don’t worry about trying to make yours perfect. Sometimes the messier the better it turns out!
What do you think of this design? Are you excited for this month’s Glam Nails Challenge? Like I said, I was feeling inspired so I wanted to keep the good nail art going! & I feel like this is going to inspire some really beautiful nail art designs this month!
