Twinkling Snowflakes ❄️✨

Hello lovelies & happy Wednesday! Halfway through the week, & only 4 days away from December 1st. Who else hasn’t started their Christmas shopping yet?

Today I’m showing off more glittery nails on my shorties. I was feeling some handprinted snowflakes, since they’ve been all over my Instagram feed, so I decided to give them a go. & obviously, I needed a good base for them to pop over, so I picked some more sparkles. After all, ’tis the season for sparkle!

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

How pretty did these little snowflakes turn out. I’ve never been the most comfortable free handing my snowflakes, but I was feeling pretty confident after watching way too many tutorial videos. & they turned out absolutely beautiful, & I’m very proud of that.

I’m trying not to get too Christmas-y on my nails yet, as Glam Nails Challenge December starts next Wednesday, & I’m going all in to end this year! There are so many great prompts, so I’m really excited for some fun designs to end this year strong.

What do you think of my twinkling snow flakes? Has it snowed where you are yet? We haven’t had anything more than a couple flurries, but they are calling for a potential snowstorm at the end of the week which is crazy!

Glittery Dotticure

Hello loves & happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend.

As you may have noticed in yesterday’s post, I’m back to rocking shorter nails. & Sometimes short nails can feel kind of lame, so I decided to do something fun. I’m all about the glitter right now, so I felt like some sparkle was much needed — & I wanted to create another version of this nail art look I did last New Year’s Eve, but with a darker base this time.

The polishes I used for this manicure are:

  • Top Coat: Nail Stuff Essentials Quick Dry Top Coat *
  • OPI Less is Norse
  • OPI Infinite Shine Put On Something Ice

How cute are these little sparkles? I tried my best to get a little sparkle in each dot but it wasn’t always the easiest. Still looks so pretty against the darker blue base shade of Less is Norse.

It’s also giving me Christmas inspo to try this with a white base & green & red glittery polishes!

Glittery Snow Globe Inspired Nails ❄️❄️❄️

Hello loves & happy Wednesday! A chilly, icy, windy Wednesday here. Winter is quickly approaching, so I feel like some snowflake nails aren’t completely out of the realm of possibility.

Don’t these just remind you of a snow globe? I love how they turned out. These were so super easy to do, & I love how beautiful they look. Plus the thick glossy top coat from NailStuff Essentials really sealed in the stickers so you don’t have to worry about any edges sticking up.

They just turned out so beautiful, & I love how that the colours are more subdued but then you also get the fun glitter.

What do you think about these glittery snowflake nails? Sadly, this was the last manicure I did with long nails — I had a pretty awful break after I wore them, & am now rocking some serious shorties. But they’ll be fun to do some Holiday nail art looks on my shorties, & also inspire those with shorties as well!

Are these not giving serious Christmas vibes? I always love a good candy cane stripe design this time of year, because it’s just the right amount of holiday vibes. & they pair perfectly with the holly bush in our front yard.

What are we thinking about this candy cane stripe look? Sometimes I like to go more subtle with this design, but the glitter was just calling to me!

Cosy Matte Knit Nails

Good morning lovelies & happy Friday. & happy (almost) weekend! Can you believe we’re halfway through November? I know I say this every month, but it’s truly astonishing how quickly this year is coming to a close.

But I do appreciate all the nail art ideas this time of year! Because there are so many you can do! Today I was feeling some knit inspired nails. This is a design I’ve done before, & it’s perfect for a pre-holiday, late Autumn look.

How cute is this knit effect? It reminds me of the sweaters & scarves I’ve been layering on because it’s been freezing lately — & I get cold easily anyways. This is such an easy look to do, too, & you can use any colour. In fact, I’m already brainstorming a fun Red scarf inspired look in my head.

It’s also the perfect nail art look for any nail length—short of long, it will look great on your nails!
