Happy Friday! I have just a quick manicure to share today.
I love gold. I love gold SO MUCH! It really does look beautiful with anything. For this manicure I paired Zoya Harlow with Essie Jiggle Hi, Jiggle Lo and China Glaze Meet Me in the Mirage.
What’s your favourite colour to pair with gold? Mine is purple (obviously) but I love it with a deep blue! And red! Haha see it’s perfect with everything.

In honour of the chilly Nova Scotia mornings, I’ve been playing with my Fall-themed polishes. I wanted to pull away from my obsession with pinks and purples and blues and wear something a little different.
Essie Vested Interest is from their fall 2013 collection, and it’s a deep greyish green creme. It’s not a typical colour I usually reach for, but it’s definitely the perfect fall colour.

I really, really love how these turned out. This may be one of my best half moon manicures I’ve ever done!

I’ve wanted to create a mini triangle patterned nails for a while now, but I’m no good with striping tape! So I decided to give them a try with my striping polish! My freehanding has been getting better with practice so I’m very happy with how these turned out.

What do you think of this mani? I absolutely adore how my triangles turned out! I wore this mani for a full two days which almost never happens. I would have kept it on another day but they started to chip thanks to work (darn stock days…). I will definitely be trying this design again soon!

Hope you’re enjoying your Wesnesday. Here in Halifax it’s been pretty darn hot… Which normally I wouldn’t complain about but our air conditioning at work has been broken a couple weeks so it’s been a little rough. Thank goodness for maxi dresses and Iced Coffee!
You know what else makes up for super hot Summer days… Nail polish! I recently picked up a few pretty Essie polishes on some awesome deals ($3.99) which I can never say no to!
Today’s mani features the super pretty Brides No Grooms. As soon as I spied this pretty reddish pink hiding in the clearance bin, I knew I had to own it! I decided to compliment it with some simple gold stripes created using my QUO by ORLY Striper in Gold. The topped everything with a nice coat of Seche to seal everything in.
Is there anything that doesn’t go well with gold? 😍😍😍 did you pick up any of the Essie bridal polishes? I’m still hoping to stumble across Happy Wife Happy Life in the clearance bins! I love red, and the name is too cute as it’s what my fiancé always says to me. 💗
